FAQ

What are Sample Packs?

The Sample Packs contain drag and drop AIFF’s / WAV's audio files - compatible with all software. Please find a selection of each pack's samples at the bottom of each Sample Pack product page.

What are Kontakt instruments?

The Kontakt Instruments are playable samples (Virtual Sample Instruments) requiring the full version of the Kontakt Engine. Please see the specification and examples of the instrument at the bottom of each Kontakt instrument product page.

Do the Kontakt instruments run in the free Kontakt Player?

No, our instruments are built to run in the FULL version of Kontakt only. You can get Native Instrument’s Kontakt from: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6/

The instruments will not appear on the Kontakt libraries pane so will need to be loaded via the Kontakt files browser or by adding the library to Kontakt’s Quick-Load area.

Where/how can I use the Sample Packs & Kontakt instruments?

You may:

- use the Sample Packs and Kontakt instruments in your own compositions, either personal or professional, royalty-free provided they are used in conjunction with other sounds;

- use the Sample Packs and Kontakt instruments in isolation as sound effects for film projects (but not to be released as score/soundtrack in isolation).

You may not:

- re-sell, re-distribute or give away the samples/license to another person or through any file sharing services. All sounds are tracked by Tunesat and linked to user accounts so if they appear on sharing servers we can identify the original purchaser. (Companies with multiple producers/editors will require individual licences per user/workstation);

- re-use, re-package or reformat any of the samples into other sample packs, sample instruments, sound effect libraries or derivative products of any kind. Either as source material, re-synthesised, processed, combined with other sounds or otherwise edited.

Please see the Licence for more details here.
