The Capsule

‘The Capsule’, crafted by composer Adam Lukas (Frozen Planet II, Bleeding Fingers Music), unveils darkly evocative string textures, imbued with the warmth of vintage tape machines. Eerie soundscapes shift between major and minor keys, creating unsettling beauty and creeping dread. Abrupt crescendos and groaning swoops heighten the drama, while hope-filled arpeggios dance amidst the shadows. To achieve this, Lukas processed each recording through a 1970 Nagra 4.2 Tape Machine, a TASCAM Portastudio 414mkII, and analog effects.
